Your STRONG Challenge begins with setting fitness goals. Although we’ll be encouraging you in other areas of your life, we want to start by focusing on physical health and wellness. Start by setting goals to achieve during the next six weeks (watch the video for guidance).

WELL DONE! TAKING THIS FIRST STEP IS A DECLARATION AGAINST FAILURE AND FRUSTRATION.
Whether you are at the “walk around the block” level or at the “run the next marathon” level, start where you are, and we’ll grow from there. Achieving goals will set the foundation for healthier habits for life. You were made for more!
WEEK 1: CHALLENGE SPEAKER
Meet Katie Fields our Child Development Center Assistant Director.
She is no stranger to setting goals for herself and driving towards them but knowing that there can be a step back or two. Every day is full of small goals we can set for ourselves. Remember, small goals all lead up to a big goal! Just like when making a video, it may take a few tries but as long as you learn and have fun you are progressing!
Below are some ideas to get you off the couch and onto a new healthier life. This is how we’ll fight, how we’ll get STRONG.
Outdoor Bike – 20 minutes
- Body Weight Circuit
- Push-up Challenge
- Any of our robust virtual offerings – Virtual Classes
In Person at the Y
- -NEW- Fall into Fitness Challenge
- Group Exercise Class – Reserve a space at your Y
- Fitness Center – 20 minute rotation
- Walk on Indoor Tracks for 20 minutes
- Fitness Center: 15 laps = 1 mile
- Super Gym: 10 laps = 1 mile
Swim – 20 minutes
Rowing – 20 minutes
