Many organizations talk about promoting a work-life balance. At the Y, we believe life doesn’t have to begin when work ends. We inspire your life at work. Our free Y memberships encourage health and wellness for our team members and their entire households. And we promote volunteer opportunities, such as allowing our employees to leave work and read to 6-year-olds with Y-Readers, lead arts and crafts at day camp, or teach kids about safety around water. Our culture feels like a large, extended family that genuinely cares for the well-being of one another.

  • Individuals are not able to start working until their background check has been returned and cleared.
  • Redwoods Safety Trainings: We want our staff to be as knowledgeable and prepared to the best of our abilities. This is why we require all staff to complete the following safety traingings listed below. (Departments such as Child Care do require more than these three.)

    • CPR
