Courtney Burbach, Development Director
Hey hey friends!
My name is Courtney Burbach and I am the Development Director here at the Kearney Family YMCA! I started working at the Kearney Family YMCA in January 2021. Previously, I was the Program Director at the Kearney Y (2021-2023). Before working at the Kearney Family YMCA I was the Youth Sports Director at the Southwest YMCA in Omaha, NE. I am so happy to be working here at the Y – I love interacting with people and making a positive impact.
I received my Bachelors degree in Recreation Management with a minor in Family Studies from the University of Nebraska at the Kearney in 2017. I am married to my husband TJ – we met while both attending UNK. We one kiddo, Crew and one cute corgi – Bella. 🙂
As a Kearney native I absolutely love being involved with our community. I am involved with the Young Professionals Network serving as the Past President, a Teammates Mentor for college students at UNK, the Alpha Omicron Pi Membership Experience Advisor and Alumni Social Chair.
In my spare time I enjoy playing pickleball, volleyball and soccer, hanging out with my friends and family, spending time with my husband and son Crew and cuddling with my corgi puppy Bella! Come stop by my office anytime – I would love to meet you!
